You can find us at Skrivar Wesselsveg 24, 3676 Notodden. We are based at Strupa, right by Tuven and about 3 km outside the center of Notodden.

Opening hours

We welcome guests all year round, but when we don't have guests in the house we might be travelling ourselves. However, we are always available by e-mail, telephone and Messenger.

  • Pets

    Pets are welcome by agreement with the host. Contact us and we will find good solutions.

  • Parking

    There are good parking conditions at Kjerringrokk, and of course free parking for our guests.

  • WiFi and TV

    All guests have access to WiFi during their stay, and we have a high-speed optical line with good capacity. There is TV's available in common areas.

  • Alcohol

    We enjoy a glass of wine! But due to laws, we at Kjerringrokk do not serve alcohol to guests. You are more than welcome to enjoy your own beverages, alcoholic or not. At private events, we are happy to assist with catering, but the organizers must do the shopping themselves.

  • Cancellation

    Cancellations must be made no later than 1 week before the planned arrival. If something comes up that prevents you from traveling as planned, contact us as early as possible so that we can find good solutions together.

  • Cooking

    At Kjerringrokk, breakfast is always included. There is an opportunity to order dinner, lunch and supper, and you are of course welcome to use the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need in terms of cups and utensils, and has basic items such as oil and spices available.

  • Language

    We speak Norwegian and English well, but experience that we are good at communicating with guests from all countries and cultures.
